The "Chefs Table" is an almost plug and play modular kitchen system designed for the later Defender Rear Door (TD5 & Puma TDCi).
The box includes a drop down table for prepping food or using as a stove platform. When the table is in its closed position, there is about 7.5cmD x 29cmH x 58cmW of storage space - Enough room to store a Vango Double Hob Induction hot plate and other slim line hobs.
On the left side, there is plenty of space to house whatever you like - Utensils or spices for example and in the top centre above the drop down table, there is another drop down door that can act as a shelve, but also has further storage behind it.
There are options to have the "Chefs Table" with or without the space for the rear door wiper motor. Without the motor gives you a slightly larger top section storage area.
The top of the box make s a very convenient shelf too and has an LED down lighting strip so you can easily see what you're cooking once the sun goes down.
To fit the "Chefs Table", you will need to remove the rear door handle and plastic door card, drill out the existing retaining clip holes and install 6mm RivNuts (supplied). The "Chefs Table", with a little jiggery simply bolts into place. Once lined up and firmly secured, add to top shelf and the door handle and you're almost ready to go.
Don't forget to wire in your LED. The cable for your LED strip light will come out on the left side close to your door electrics. Now you're ready.
This Module will work with both Weekender Systems. Allow a minimum of 12cm inside your defender when the door is closed for clearance.

Please note.: Some of the spare wheel/carrier bolts may need to be cut back to the nut heads.
